harden-development software package provides Development tools for creating more secure programs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install harden-development
harden-development is installed in your system.
Make ensure the harden-development package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep harden-development *
You will get with harden-development package name, version, architecture and description in a table
